One brief. One draft. Done.
Brief
A short, one-minute online form. Topic, audience, tone, and what you want the reader to walk away thinking.
No 30-minute intake calls, no back-and-forth emails. You fill out the form, I review it, and if I have questions I'll send a short follow-up. Most briefs give me everything I need to start research the same day.
Fill Out the Brief →Brainstorm
I research the landscape, then propose a few angles. We pick the sharpest idea together.
I'll send you 2–3 angle options with a brief rationale for each — what makes it interesting, why the audience will care, and how it differentiates from what's already published. You pick the direction; I start writing.
Delivery
You get the draft. Revisions included until you're happy. Completed in as little as 48 hours.
The draft arrives as a Google Doc with inline comments where I've made judgment calls. One round of revisions is included in every engagement — most clients need minimal edits. If it's a rush, 48-hour turnaround is available.
Common Questions
-
What's the typical turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days from approved angle to final draft. Rush delivery (48 hours) is available for most article formats. White papers and research reports typically take 1–2 weeks depending on scope and research depth.
-
How do revisions work?
One round of revisions is included in every engagement. A "round" means consolidated feedback — not a single comment, but all your notes at once. Most clients barely touch the first draft. Additional rounds beyond the first are billed at an hourly rate, agreed upfront.
-
What do you need from me?
The one-minute brief covers the basics: topic, audience, tone, and your desired takeaway. Beyond that, anything that helps me sound like you — previous writing, interviews, talks, even voice memos. The more raw material, the more accurate the voice match. But even a brief alone is enough to get started.
-
How do we communicate during a project?
Email for everything. I send angle options, you pick one. I send the draft, you leave comments. No recurring calls, no project management tools, no Slack channels to monitor. You have better things to do, and so do I.
-
What if the first piece doesn't work out?
There's no commitment until you approve the angle. If you don't like any of the proposed directions, we part ways — no invoice. Once you approve an angle and I write the draft, revisions are included to make sure it lands. The risk is mine, not yours.
